Cookies and advertising measurement

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and the Meta Conversions API to measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform and to show our ads to people who may be interested. When you visit our pages, add items to your cart, start checkout or place an order, we share that event (for example the products and the order value) with Meta.

To help Meta connect these events to the right ad, we also share some of your details only as one-way SHA-256 hashes (an unreadable code that cannot be turned back into the original text): your phone number, email (if given), first and last name, and thana/area and district. We also share your IP address, browser type and Meta's own cookie IDs (_fbp, _fbc).

After you place an order, we save a first-party cookie called kb_ud in your browser for 180 days. It contains only the hashes of your phone number and first name, never the plain text, so that later visits from the same browser can be measured. We also use a random visitor ID cookie (kb_aid) and a cookie called kb_src (7 days) that remembers which ad or link brought you here (campaign name, landing page); it holds no personal details.

When you type your mobile number at checkout, we save what you have entered so far (phone, name, address, area and the products in your cart) so our team can help you finish the order by phone if something goes wrong. If no order is placed, this record is deleted automatically after 30 days.

You can remove these cookies at any time by clearing your browser's cookies for khatibox.com, and you can manage how Meta uses this data for ads in your Facebook settings (Settings → Ads preferences). Meta handles this data under its own privacy policy.
